1985

The beginning of another era. Albertus Magnus wins the first of the three consecutive titles that establish them as the Alumni Race's most dominant team. Participation wanes slightly--only four female competitors finish the race--but George Buckheit runs an Alumni record 14:36, leading five Albertus men in the top 10--to this day, the most impressive team performance in race history. Rita Keahon wins the first of a record four titles for the Nanuet women.
